Agri Eastern Cape have launched an eMarket on their website to give members a platform from where they can sell products and services directly to the farming community and public.

Although the eMarket can be viewed by anyone, prospective sellers need to create a profile to post their ads.

Agri members will have automatic access via their Farmers’ Field username and password.

Members of the public, who would like to market relevant products to the farming community or public, can also apply for a username and password.

If approved, they will receive their permanent login details via e-mail within two working days.

There is currently no charge to post ads on the eMarket and these will be displayed for 30 days.

Premium ads, which will be introduced after the initial test phase to give advertisers better visibility, will carry a cost.

The eMarket is an extension of the Like Local concept, which was pioneered by Agri Eastern Cape as a brand building exercise.
