2024 Landbouweekblad conference -Oplossings vir Suid-Afrika se Platteland

On Tuesday the 20th and Wednesday the 21st of February 2024, Landbouweekblad is hosting a national event at Nampo-park, Bothaville.

The aim is to bring experts from across the country to elaborate and demonstrate solutions they have implemented in their respective fields and areas that could be adopted across the country in a bid to find workable solutions for the Platteland of South Africa.

While we are faced with adverse conditions in the rural spaces of South Africa, such as a failing road network, rising unemployment, and poor management by local, provincial and national government, we also cannot sit back and only complain about the problems. We as South Africans need to be able to stand together and find solutions to these problems for the benefit of ourselves and the future generations of this country.

It is heart-warming to see so many of the panellists at this conference stem from the Eastern Cape which includes Agri Eastern Cape. It is clear that as a Province we are standing up and working hard to fix the adversities we face in our day to day lives.

Agri Eastern Cape will be attending the conference and presenting on the Agri Ops Coordination Centre. We look forward to partaking in this event and rubbing shoulders with like minded people in the Organised Agriculture space.

Hopefully we will also see many of our own members there!
