Ever wondered what really happens on a sheep farm in the Karoo? A lot more than you might think!

Beskuitfontein Trails' December event has a new name but the same amazing trails! You'll be pleasantly surprised by the different types of terrain on Beskuitfontein's trails - from bouldering to relaxing mountain streams, to scenic expansive views of the eastern Karoo landscape! Race Day is on the 17th of December and short and longer distances to choose from, perfect for young & old! On offer is a 10km, 20km and 30km Trail Run/Hike and 27km Mountain Bike Race.

We are also launching our 3km Youth Trail Run & our brand new 600m Kids Mountain Bike Time-Lap Competition on Saturday the 17th of Dec! Your kids will looooove this!

In addition to Race Day, there will be an informal Sundowner run/hike/mountain bike on Friday, the 16th of Dec which includes a sundowner drink and farm tour! We also have a Karoo braai after the Sundowners for which one need to book in advance.

Loads of moer koffie, beskuit, delicious Karoo cuisine and ice-cold refreshments on sale the whole of Race Day on Sat 17 Sep. Cash and card facilities available at the race village. We recommend booking your race entries online to make registration on the day quick and ensure you receive a medal and other goodies for which there are limited stock.

And don't worry too much if it might be a bit rainy- we have a massive tent kindly sponsored by OVK which will keep you dry before- and after your race. Ablutions with showers and flush toilets available at the race village.
