Upper Cathcart Grass Rally

The Upper Cathcart Farmers Association will be hosting the 31st annual Grass Rally on the 17th of November 2022 at the Cathcart Country Club.

Funds raised through this annual event are used to support the Upper Cathcart Farmers Association as well as a local charity. This year the Upper Cathcart Farmers Association will be raising money in support of the the local Callie Evens Lodge Retirement Complex.

The day starts off with a talk from the guest speak, Nico Groenewald, who is the national head of agriculture for Standard Bank.

After the guest speaker the teams of two will head out onto the course to engage with the sponsors at each sponsor point, where they will be asked to answer questions and complete tasks for points. At the end of the day the points for each team will be added up for the Prize Giving to take place at the end of the day.

Programme for the Day:
· 08h00 – 08h30 Registration (coffee / tea and eats)
· 08h30 – 09h30 Talk: Nico Groenewald – Standard Bank Agri
· 09h45 – 15h30 Grass Rally
· From 12h00 onwards Lunch will be served from the Country Club, please collect.
The bar will be open which will be a cash bar.
16h00 Prize Giving and snacks
Steaks will be available at the Club for R120 for the late stayers.
