We are offering a position that can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the level of experience of the candidate.
Financial Administrator
Agri Eastern Cape is a member based and funded organisation with its office in Gqeberha.

Duties and Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Daily administration of finances – bank reconciliations, queries, quotations, Receipts, VAT Invoices
- Daily payments
- Collection of income payable to Agri EC
- Liaising with SARS, Bank, Insurance Company and any other financial institutions where necessary
- Monthly UIF, SDL, PAYE payments of e-filing
- VAT reconciliation and remittances every two months on e-filing
- Daily data capture in Pastel (Payments, receipts, Invoices, Journals)
- S&T Payments
- Monthly financial reports for the Admin Manager, CEO & Audit Committee
- Quarterly Financial Reports on the position of the Company to the Admin Manager & CEO
- Monthly Income & Expense statement, year to date, cashflow statement & trial balance
- EC RPO daily finances & monthly report
- Traceability Account monthly report – weekly feedback to Admin Manager & CEO
- Security Account monthly report and weekly feedback to Admin Manager & Operations Manager
- Legal Aid Fund Report
- Emergency Fund Report
- Preparation for year-end audits in January
Job-related knowledge, skills and requirements: Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent
- Relevant finance qualification essential for some roles
- An excellent understanding of finance processes
Skills:
- Excellent planning skills
- Excellent computer literacy in the relevant applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure in reviewing large volumes of work
- Proficient in meeting deadlines
Competencies:
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP)
- Knowledge of relevant financial legislation (taxation)
- Numeracy, and attention to detail
- Communication
- Methodical and organised
- Advanced computer skills; knowledgeable in accounting software, Pastel Accounting; MS Windows; Excel, Word; Powerpoint
- Fluency in oral and written English and Afrikaans
