Agri Eastern Cape was formerly known as the Eastern Province Agricultural Union and ran under this brand for over 100 years until the year 2000.
In 2001 the organisation was rebranded as Agri Eastern Cape and represents all facets of the Agricultural Sector throughout the Eastern Cape Province.
Agri Eastern Cape currently has over 3000 members across more than 100 Agricultural Associations and Affiliated Organizations.
Agri Eastern Cape’s vision is to grow the Eastern Cape’s Agricultural industry as well as to provide services that are beneficial to both its members and the industry.
In order to achieve this vision, Agri Eastern Cape promotes agricultural business interests and aims to build good working relations between its members and the various role players in the agricultural industry.
Agri Eastern Cape has created a platform for all the stakeholders in the Agricultural Sector to be able to voice their opinions and be heard by those in positions of power.
Agri Eastern Cape has positioned itself as the collective representative and the voice of over 3000 farmers and Agri businesses throughout the Eastern Cape and has leveraged this position when lobbying with Provincial and National Government.
