The Agri Eastern Cape Congress is the Organisational Legislative Body consisting of representative delegates from each of the 99 affiliated Agricultural Associations within the Agri Eastern Cape structures.
Each Agricultural Association may nominate delegates to attend the Annual Agri Eastern Cape Congress, but only one delegate carries the vote for their Association.
The weight of the Association vote is based on the total affiliated membership within that Association.
The Agri Eastern Cape Congress is the highest decision-making body within the Agri Eastern Cape structure. Not only does the Congress nominate and appoint the leadership of Agri Eastern Cape on an annual basis, but it also votes on resolutions and projects which guide and direct the focus of the administrative and operational staff of Agri Eastern Cape for the upcoming year.
