Agri EC Young Farmer Golf Day and Committee Announcement

This past week Agri Eastern Cape held their annual Young Farmer Golf Day in Port Alfred proudly sponsored by Standard Bank and Santam Agriculture. This year we had the biggest turnout of golfers resulting in 104 players (25x 4-balls), we had people join us from as far as Cedarville and Aberdeen. The purpose of the day was to bring farmers of all ages and from all over the province together to interact and network, and that is exactly what happened.

We had professional golfers and we had non-golfers take part, everyone had a fun, social day of golf with wonderful weather, refreshments along the way and an enjoyable evening together. The evening events consisted of prize giving and our 2025 Young Farmer Committee announcement. The purpose of the committee is to expose Young Farmers from all over the province to organised agriculture and give them the opportunity to give insight into the industry.
