Kanyiso Miti, the FPA Manager, travelled to Middelburg to attend the Midlands Karoo FPA (MKFPA) AGM & ExCo Meeting as well as the Fish River FMU/AA Meeting, over two days.
Kanyiso, together with Mark Collet, assisted the Fish River Agricultural Association with their Fire Management Plan by looking at their natural firebreaks and firefighting equipment. The Fire Management Plan is part of Compliancy as stipulated on The Act of NVFFA 1998.
The Midlands Karoo FPA AGM & ExCo Meeting was attended by different Agricultural Associations (AA) in the Chris Hani District, where they discussed matters with regards to FPA funding and upliftment. The FPA rules were adopted and signed off by the Fish River AA and Nooitgedacht AA.
