To all the members of Agri Eastern Cape and their families,
It always feels strange to be sending a message out at this time of the year as the culmination of our working year is at the Annual Congress.
However, if I put my mind to it this is meant to be nothing more than wishing each and everyone of you a very happy and merry festive season! Agriculture is a challenging industry, and it is important that we all take this time to celebrate the successes of the year and enjoy some well deserved quality time with our families and loved ones.
If you are on the roads travel safely and remember it is not only what you do on the roads these days, but also everyone else using the roads. Please be cautious.
2023 has been a very productive year for our organisation and a special thanks need to go to all the office staff and councillors for their unfailing loyalty and dedication. I am sure each and everyone of you are looking forward to a well-deserved break with hopefully no early morning or midnight phone calls. We need to be rested and ready for 2024 with it being an election year we will be faced with all sorts of challenges.
